Serving at Red Church
We believe every follower of Jesus has been gifted by the Spirit and invited to participate in His mission. At Red, serving is about more than filling a roster—it’s about reflecting Jesus’ heart, growing in discipleship, and creating space for others to encounter Him.
Our heart for serving:
- We want to help you discover and use the gifts God has given you.
- Serving is an act of worship and a reflection of Jesus’ servant nature.
- Your identity in Christ comes first—we support your spiritual growth as you serve.
- Team Leaders will track with you and help maintain a healthy rhythm of serving and attending.
Details for those who serve:
- We ask those who serve to commit for 12 months at a time.
- Rosters are managed through Planning Center and are designed to balance serving and rest.
- Team communication is through WhatsApp.
- If you’re unavailable for a rostered time, please let your volunteer team know as early as possible.
Our commitment to being a safe church:
To ensure Red is a safe and welcoming place for all people—especially children and vulnerable individuals—we require everyone who serves to:
- Hold a current Working With Children Check
- Complete a National Police Check.
- Agree to our Code of Conduct and Child Safe policies
(You'll receive more information on these checks and policies after completing this form.)
Thank you for being willing to serve and participate in what God is doing through Red Church.
