ACCESSING THE GYM
Member Check-in: All Members are required to scan their QR/Bar codes and check-in with reception before entry. If you have left the facility, and re-entered, you will need to re-check-in.
Member Identification: Crush Fitness reserves the right to file a copy of your CPR to verify your identity upon entering the facility and reserves the right to deny entry to Members who cannot be otherwise identified.
Good Standing: Crush Fitness reserves the right to prohibit Members from entry if membership dues have not been paid prior to expiration. Additionally, memberships, personal training sessions, and class packs are non-transferable. Only the individual who has completed the membership form and waiver is permitted to enter.
Membership Cancellation: Once a membership has been issued to a Member, alongside full payment, Crush Fitness will not allow the Member to cancel their membership for any reason(s) during the term of the membership. Please note that memberships are non-transferable or redeemable.
Assignment: Membership of Crush Fitness is personal to the Member and cannot be assigned, transferred or otherwise disposed of. The Member shall not loan his/her membership or permit it to be used by anyone but the Member.
HOUSE RULES
Respect: Our community relies on inclusiveness and respect amongst others. Please remember to be polite and courteous with staff and other Members throughout your time with us. Behavior that is otherwise seen as inappropriate, abusive or threatening, will not be tolerated and Crush Fitness reserves the right to remove you from the facility and/or cancel your membership.
Member Arrival: Before your arrival, please ensure that you have booked the appropriate class and check the app that the class or gym floor has not exceeded the limit. We will not accommodate Members who have not booked or are late for class. We suggest arriving at least 5 minutes before a class.
Gymwear: Appropriate attire that is modest and comfortable and foot attire that is durable for our exercises is required. Our floors require you to be prepped accordingly, to avoid any injury.
Handheld Devices: We respect our Members’ privacy and ask that you do too. Please refrain from using your phone in the locker rooms and on the gym floor; as well as refraining from including other Members in your pictures and videos. We also ask that you refrain from making phone or video calls while in the gym which can irritate other Members and take up time on the machines. All devices must be on silent mode during your time with us.
Gym and Studio Classes: To guarantee your spot in one of our classes, please ensure that you have booked through the app and arrive at least five minutes before the session. We will not accommodate late arrivals to ensure that we maintain the quality of our classes and the other Members’ experience. If you are unable to make it to class, please cancel your booking immediatley to make space for others and to avoid a ‘system-lock’ on your next booking; if you miss 3 bookings within 30 days, you will be denied from booking a class for the next 7 days.
Equipment: Our equipment is sanitized and disinfected with every use, however, to ensure that everyone is comfortable, we ask for you to do the same. Please use the provided sanitizing wipes to clean equipment before and after use and place a towel to cover the seats and floor mats when in use. When you are finished using portable equipment such as floor mats, ropes, dumbbells etc. we ask that you kindly return it to its appropriate place. Please refrain from using equipment that you may see as unfamiliar or uncomfortable, instead please ask a member of staff to help you. Finally, please do not spend more than 30 minutes on the cardio machines to ensure you are optimising your workout and utilising all the machines in the gym.
Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for any personal belongings that are lost or damaged during your time with us. We ask that any valuable items be left at home. Please make sure to use the lockers provided to avoid congestion.
Memberships: We are a highly-specialized, boutique gym with a limited number of memberships monthly in order to maintain the quality and experience of our offerings and the privacy of our Members. We cannot guarantee that a membership will be successful upon pre-registration. However, we do have a waiting list where potential Members will be notified when there is a next availability. We highly suggest to continue your membership renewals to avoid losing your place. Moreover, please note that there is a one-time fee of BD 25 for new members. However, this fee will be waived for future renewals. It is important to note that if a membership is not renewed for a period of 3 months, it will be considered as a new membership upon renewal, and the initiation fee will be applicable again. Memberships shall be effective from the date of payment of membership dues for the selected type of membership, regardless of when the member phyisically commences at the facility - if you purchase a membership for future use, please confirm the intended start date in writing via Whatsapp or email. Please note that memberships are non-transferable or redeemable.
Acceptance by Crush Fitness of an application for membership shall constitute a binding contractual arrangement between Crush Fitness and the Applicant upon the Terms and Conditions of membership.
Please note that memberships include complimentary Inbody analysis and Rollershaper sessions. Any additional services beyond this will incur charges. For one month memberships it includes 1 Inbody analysis but excludes the Rollershaper. For three month memberships it includes 1 complimentary session for both Inbody and Rollershaper, for six month memberships it includes 2 complimentary sessions for both Inbody and Rollershaper, and for one year memberships it includes 4 complimentary sessions for both Inbody and Rollershaper sessions.
Health and Safety: We take your health and wellbeing very seriously and make it a point for you to be aware of your own health before, during and after a session. If you are unwell or have an underlying health concern, it is your responsibility to inform our trainers beforehand. If you suffer from any underlying health issues, please do not partake in any class before consulting a health professional who has approved (with a health certificate) that you are fit. To ensure your physical readiness, and before partaking in a class, session or using our facility, it is essential to consult with your health care professional to assess your physical health and abilities. For emergency procedures, please familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers within the gym premises. Finally, for the health and safety of all Members, please follow all rules and regulations set forth by Crush Fitness.
PRIVATE TRAINING
Timing: All training sessions are scheduled at the convenience of the trainer and Member. It is the responsibility of the Member to show up on time for all scheduled sessions to avoid a shortened session. In the event a Member wishes to cancel or postpone, reception must be informed at least 24 hours in advance of the session time. If a trainer is late for a session, the time will be compensated during the session or on a subsequent session. In the event a client does not make it to the session, the session cannot be made up or reimbursed. Please note that you have 30 days to train with your trainer; the minimum amount of times to cancel or postpone is four times. If you cancel more than four times, you may lose your remaining sessions and be placed on the waiting list to resume your training.
Trainers: All our trainers are employed by Crush Fitness. Under no circumstance will we permit outside trainers to train our Members or provide personal training services at our facility. Members and personal trainers who join the gym with the intention of participating in these activities may be ineligible for future memberships.
Session types and Validity: One session package valid for seven days, Four sessions valid for 15 days, Eight sessions valid for 30 days, 12 sessions valid for 30 days, and 16 sessions valid for 45 days upon first redemption date. Renewal of the packages must be done prior or on the last day of a remaining session. Please note that your membership must be valid and up to date to re-purchase sessions. Upon or before completion of the session package, please secure future packages beforehand, to make sure your spot is valid. However, it is not guaranteed that the same trainer will be available, or otherwise, in the event all trainers are fully booked, you will be placed on the waiting list. We strongly suggest purchasing as many sessions as you can before or during your initial session selection. Please note that sessions cannot be transferred to the next month and must be utilized during the time they are purchased. Please note that sessions are not transferrable or redeemable.
Crush Fitness’s package offerings: Private Personal Training, Teen Teen Personal Training (non-member), Private Pilates/Barrecore Training, Calisthenics Private Training, Megaformer Private Training and Microformer Private Training.
Payment: All payment for private training is to be paid in full and in advance prior to the commencement of the training. All sales of sessions are final. These cannot be transferable and they are to be used only during the duration of your membership. Please note that the 1 session PT is considered a chargeable trial and cannot be repurchased. If you wish to continue with the training, a package must be purchased thereafter.
Cancellation: Once a session or package sessions have been purchased by the Member, Crush Fitness will not allow the Member to cancel their package for any reason(s) during the term of the package purchased. However, in the event a session is to be cancelled, we require at least 24 hour’s notice before the session, otherwise, the session will be charged for the full amount. This is also applicable for no-shows. In the event a Member is medically unfit to participate in the package sessions, Crush Fitness will require a valid medical certificate as proof. Once proof has been provided a credit can be made on the remaining sessions. Any used sessions will be charged at the individual rate of the credit being made or the remaining amount. Please note that this is not valid for memberships. Please be advised that Crush Fitness reserves the right to cancel sessions as necessary due to unforseen circumstances, such as trainer's illness or other unexpected events. In such cases, members will be promptly notified of any session cancellations.
MEMBERSHIP FREEZE
Where a Member is unable to use any of Crush Fitness’s facilities, the Member can apply to have their membership frozen. All requests for freezes must be done at least 7 days before the intended day by sending an official email to crushfitness@kar-group.com. We permit a freeze on three month, six month and twelve month memberships. You may freeze for a total of one week for the three month up to one time, one month for the six month membership up to one time, a total of two months for the twelve month membership up to two times and ten days for our Mega Diamond Club members up to one time. Please note that partial freezes are not applicable. Additionally, a freeze extension may occasionally be granted for 7 or 15 days, as well as for a month at an additional cost. Once the membership is temporarily suspended, members, are not permitted to enter the facility, and use the gym. Moreover, once the membership has been frozen for the maximum amount of time, the Gym will automatically resume the membership subscription and unfreeze the membership.
