EmpowHER
EmpowHER is a fully funded program that is designed to prepair women for emplyoyment in the Construction, Film or Manufacturing industries in Manitoba.

We encaourage everyone to join us on Monday October 16th at 2:00 pm and Thursday October 10th at 7:30 Pm via zoom to find out more about the program and how to register.

Program 12 Weeks Schedule:

Term 1: November 6, 2023 - December 22, 2023

Holiday break: December 23, 2023 - January 7, 2024

Term 2: January 8, 2024 - February 9, 2024

Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

The 12 Week funded training runs from November 6, 2023 to February 9, 2023

During the training participants will get:

Four Weeks - Job readiness and career awareness
One Week - Industry-specific safety training
Two Weeks - Skills for Success with Workplace Education Manitoba (WEM)
Two Weeks - Industry technical training
On-the-job experience in one of the three sectors, with potential for ongoing employment
