PLEASE READ – Important Information About Your Custom Wrap
At Extreme Realities Design, we are 100% committed to customer service. If you ever have questions or concerns—whether during the design process or after your project is complete—please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help.
Custom Design Timeframes
Please keep in mind that custom designs take significantly more time than purchasing a pre-made wrap. Each design is created from scratch and requires a high level of detail and attention from our design team. During our busy season (typically August through February), turnaround time for a completed and shipped wrap can range from 1 to 4 weeks.
If you need your project sooner for an event or deadline, let us know—we do our best to accommodate rush requests whenever possible.
Design Fit & 2D-to-3D Considerations
All designs are created using templates that provide a 2D layout of your machine. While we carefully design with 3D application in mind, some alignment variation can occur when pieces are installed on curved or complex surfaces. We work hard to minimize these issues but cannot guarantee that every line or shape will align perfectly once applied.
Color Accuracy & Proofs
You will receive digital proofs in RGB color mode, which appears much brighter and more vivid on screen (phones and computers) than the final printed version, which uses CMYK. Additionally, screen settings can vary from one device to another, which may result in different color perceptions.
We offer free printed color samples upon request—if you’re concerned about final print color, just ask! Keep in mind that specialty materials like chrome or glitter laminates may slightly alter the final appearance of colors.
Once you approve the final proof, we cannot be responsible for reprints due to color dissatisfaction, so please review carefully or request samples ahead of time.
Templates, Coverage & Expectations
Not all templates are created equal, and some gaps in vinyl coverage are unavoidable—this is true of all wrap manufacturers. Vinyl is not paint and should not be expected to provide the same level of seamless coverage. Some gaps are intentional to prevent lifting or damage in high-stress areas.
If you’re looking for paint-like results with zero gaps, a wrap may not be the best solution.
Fuel Tank Decals
Gas tank decals may bubble over time due to a process called outgassing, where fuel vapors escape through the plastic tank. We include relief cuts to help minimize this issue, but it's not always preventable due to the chemical interaction between the vinyl and the vapors. Cleaning up fuel spills promptly can help extend the life of these decals.
Warranty Information
We offer a 6-month warranty against normal wear and tear on all decals. Damage from crashes, extreme riding conditions, or improper installation isn’t covered—but we’re always happy to assist with replacements when needed.
