Yoga Nidra is a meditation technique. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition and should not be taken as such. However it can be used as a complementary modality that supports the body’s own healing process.
I sertify that I am 18+ years old on the moment of Yoga Nidra practice.
I understand that untreated conditions such as schizophrenia, active psychosis or hallucinations where I cannot distinguish this reality from another reality are a contraindication for the practice of Yoga Nidra.
I also understand that Yoga Nidra can clear and detoxify the body physically and also mentally and emotionally. With such a practice I am aware that some people occasionally experience detoxification effects which may include mild flu-like symptoms headaches, achiness or moodiness all of which usually pass within 24 hours. I can drink plenty of water, rest and get fresh air in this situation.
If at any time I feel uncomfortable during the Yoga Nidra, I know that I can adjust my position mindfully. I understand that if I cannot have undue pressure in the head for any reason that I need to breathe normally when tensing and relaxing the body.
I understand that what is coming up is coming to go. If something comes up that I cannot breathe and relax with, I know I can squeeze my hands, bring my attention to the soles of my feet or roll over to my side. I have the option to end the session at any time by opening eyes carefully.
A participation in every class/session of Yoga Nidra is entirely at my own risk. I release the instructor and any affiliated organization and persons from liability for any injuries arising from my participation in these classes.
