    • The Operator of each Reporting Operation associated with this project must have submitted emission reports under the Greenhouse Gas Industrial Reporting and Control Act (GGIRCA) in 2023, 2022, and 2021 and has taken all reasonable measures to comply with its requirements under GGIRCA. Note, in some cases, exceptions may be made for unsubmitted 2021 and 2022 reports – see the Industrial Electrification Program Guide for details.
    • The applicant must have paid carbon tax in relation to fuel consumed by the project Reporting Operation(s) in the 2023 calendar year.
    • The Project must be not required by provincial or federal laws that are in force as of the submission of the application, or, if the applicant is required to implement the Project, the Project must involve an earlier implementation than required by law.
