Opera Birmingham is seeking emerging and other non-managed artists for future productions - the ideal candidate will have completed their educational training and participated in advanced training (summer or resident artist programs) or performance opportunities. This application is for non-managed artists only – if you have a manager, please have your manager submit your materials for consideration.
We are committed to diversity in our casting to reflect the diversity of our community here in Birmingham. We encourage performers, directors and conductors of all races and ethnicities, gender identities, sexualities, abilities, and ages.
Artists applications should include a resume and headshot, plus at least two video recordings of arias with contrasting languages and styles. Artists may submit additional video or audio recordings in addition to the two required video recordings.
