We appreciate that you have chosen our rescue to donate your time to! By signing this document you agree that you have read and understand all of the conditions and statements below. This form is to be completed by the parent or guardian of any minor child applying to volunteer. Read each of the following statements and click the box next to them. *
Your volunteer position is temporary and not guaranteed for any specified period or term and constitutes an "at will" arrangement. As a result, you are free to resign at any time, for any reason. Similarly, Karl's Canine Krew (KCK) is free to conclude its relationship with you at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
It is imperative that all representatives of KCK always conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Representatives of KCK, including all volunteers, agree not to conduct themselves in a way that reflects poorly on KCK. If you have questions regarding what constitutes inappropriate behavior, contact a representative of KCK.
KCK will not provide payment to volunteers.
Any proprietary or confidential information, technology, data, methods, files, records, lists, privileged documents, etc., is strictly confidential and not to be disclosed to anyone. I agree to keep any such information confidential.
I agree that, as part of the consideration for volunteering, I will not disparage KCK, its programs, policies, practices or procedures.
I agree and understand that a breach of the confidentiality provision will "per se" damage KCK, in the event any legal action needs to be taken regarding a breach of this agreement or the confidentiality provision, I understand I may be liable to pay the organization liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000. I will also be liable to pay KCK's costs and reasonable attorneys fees in enforcing this agreement.
