• Questionnaire Survey

Assessing the Integration of Industry 4.0 Technologies and Circular Economy Practices
  •  You are being invited to participate in the research project titled "Assessing the Integration of Industry 4.0 Technologies and Circular Economy Practices." This research aims to involve academics and practitioners with experience in Industry 4.0 and Circular Economy. The questionnaire consists of closed-ended and multiple-choice questions, making it easy to complete and should take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time.

  • Personal Information

For starters, we need to know a little bit about you. This first section is for personal information
  • Contextualizing the theme

  • Recent literature has explored the connection between Industry 4.0 (I4.0) and Circular Economy (CE), demonstrating that these emerging concepts can enhance operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and foster sustainable business models. However, there are still gaps in understanding this relationship. This leads us to some key questions: Which I4.0 technologies are better suited for specific CE practices? How does the interdependence between these concepts unfold? In this section, we invite you, as an expert, to explore the relationships between certain I4.0 technologies and CE practices, considering environmental, operational, and social perspectives.

This is the list of constructs to be analyzed. You can download it.

  • Information about the method

In this section, you will identify how variables are related. We will begin by analyzing the relationship between the Internet of Things (IoT) and the 'Rethink' practice. Your task is to express your opinion on whether IoT influences 'Rethink,' if it's 'Rethink' that influences IoT, if both mutually influence each other, or if there is no relationship between them. As we progress, the number of items will decrease.
  • Feedback

In your opinion, is there any other I4.0 technology or CE practice that has not been addressed here? Which?
