IRGT Adoption Application Form Nov 2023
  • Adoption Application Form for adoptions in Ireland

  • Please note this form is only for people living in Ireland who are applying to adopt a greyhound from IRGT. If you live overseas and would like to adopt a greyhound, please email irgt@grireland.ie for details of who to contact in your country to begin the adoption process.

The following questionnaire will help us to understand you, your lifestyle, your family circumstances, etc., which will support us in finding a retired greyhound character to match your circumstances – please answer all questions fully.

  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • Do you own your home?*
  • Please note, if you do not own your property, IRGT will need to see a copy of your tenancy agreement or a letter/email from your landlord/property owner giving permission for a dog to live in your home. A letter or email will need to include the landlord/property owner's contact details and IRGT will need to be in receipt of confirmation before we can arrange a home visit and continue the adoption process.
