ART GROUP VOLUNTEER: At DrawBridge we support the children we serve with caring, creative, and committed facilitators and volunteers. Art group volunteers work alongside DrawBridge facilitators, giving children individual attention and creating a safe, playful, and nurturing place for them to express themselves. We ask that art group volunteers be at least 18 years old and commit to six months of service. Experience working with children is preferred. We offer training and support. Volunteers are matched to art groups depending on schedule, location, and group needs.COMMUNITY EVENT VOLUNTEER: DrawBridge presents free, fun-filled activities for children and families at museums, festivals, and special events. We ask that community events volunteers be at least 16 years old or volunteer alongside a parent or caregiver. Volunteers are matched to community events depending on schedule, location, and event needs.

Safety Protocol Agreements

To ensure the safety of the communities we serve, DrawBridge requires the following safety protocols of staff and volunteers who work directly with children and families at our partner sites. Please mark that you have read and understand each requirement below.
DrawBridge requires that all staff and volunteers who work directly with children and families complete a criminal background check via Livescan.

If selected to serve as a volunteer, I agree to authorize DrawBridge to conduct a criminal history check in accordance with national, state, and local laws prior to beginning my service with DrawBridge.
As DrawBridge staff and volunteers regularly interact with children, members of the public, and contractors in close proximity to one another, there is a need to safeguard against the risk of spread of the COVID-19 virus. As such, all DrawBridge employees and volunteers are required to receive FDA approved vaccinations against COVID-19 infection.

If selected to serve as a volunteer, I agree to sign the certification of covid vaccination status in accordance with national, state, and local laws prior to beginning my service with DrawBridge.
DrawBridge requires all volunteers to carefully read, review, and sign the Volunteer Policies. Download the Volunteer Packet here. This packet includes all policies, outlines what is expected of DrawBridge volunteers, and what volunteers can expect from us.

Prior to placement, all volunteers must attend at least one virtual Q&A session. This is a chance to meet the Program Manager, connect with other volunteers, and get acquainted with our work.

Prior to placement at a program site and in keeping with state and national guidelines for service providers at shelters and educational settings, all DrawBridge staff and volunteers must provide proof of a negative TB test that is current within the past 60 days of start date.

If selected to serve as a volunteer, I agree to submit proof of a negative tuberculosis test in accordance with national, state, and local laws prior to beginning my service with DrawBridge.
