2025 Grandparent's Day RSVP

Please join us for Grandparent's Day at Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi on MONDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2025 from 8:45AM-11:30AM. Students are invited to share the special time with their Grandparents, or other Special Adult Guest for this memorable event!

Please RSVP no later than OCTOBER 10, 2025. In order for us to have an accurate head count, please make sure to include all adults who will be attending. If any special guest(s) are attending for multiple households (ie. grandpa is attending and will be sitting with more than one household), please list all involved families below.

There will be two Masses offered on Grandparent's Day. Francis Group A will attend Mass at 9:15AM and Clare Group B will attend Mass at 10:45AM. You can determine what group you are in by clicking on the link here. Please make sure to share this information with grandparent(s)/special guest(s).

To make Grandparent’s Day as smooth as possible, please equip grandparents/special guests with these important details:

Students should arrive in carline using the normal process. They should not arrive late with grandparents.
Help grandparents feel organized by texting or writing down the details for them (a) Group assignment, (b) grade level and (c) teacher name for each student they are meeting. These details were overwhelming for grandparents to recall in the midst of all the excitement.
Grandparents should not enter the cafeteria (Door #10) until at least 8:45AM. Once doors open at 8:45AM, grandparents can meet their student(s) and wait for the first rotation. They do not need to check-in unless they are meeting a preschool student, need directions to a student’s classroom, or have additional questions.
Remind grandparents that students are asked to remain at the school until Mass is over at 11:30AM. Earlier dismissal is not approved. Homeroom teachers will have their class roster with them, so please have your student find their homeroom teacher so they can be signed out for the day.

If your student(s) have permission to leave at 11:30AM please fill out the permission slip at the bottom of this form and which person(s) they will be leaving with that day. Student(s) will need to be signed out with their homeroom teacher(s) before leaving the school.

Students may leave with their grandparent(s)/special guest(s) at 11:30AM on Monday, October 20, 2025. Students must be signed out by their homeroom teacher before leaving. Homeroom teachers will have their class roster with them, so please have your student find their homeroom teacher so they can be signed out for the day. If the permission slip is not signed or on file, students will not be released to their grandparent(s)/special guest and will stay at school until dismissal at 3:15PM.
