RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS

We don’t do quotations unless under exceptional cases:-

E.g. This is how you calculate cost:-

No of people you're booking for = 100

No of nights = 2

Cost = R135.00 per person

100 x 2 x 135 = R27 000.00

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your space. We will reserve accommodation for you according to the number of guests for which you have estimated. The final number in the group cannot be lower than the number originally booked, so please be careful with your bookings. The balance MUST be paid 7 days before your arrival. Should it appear that you have underestimated your numbers, please contact us well in advance to request extra accommodation. We will do our best to assist you, but cannot guarantee availability. For room allocations, we will require final numbers and payment not less than FIVE WORKING DAYS before arrival. No reduction will be allowed after the final number is submitted.

A breakage or loss deposit of R1000.00 is required at the same time for camps 10 people and more. For individuals, an amount of R100.00 should be paid as breakage or loss deposit. This deposit will be refunded after the final inspection and within 14 days of your visit, providing no losses/damage/ breakages are incurred or violations of rules.

2. ARRIVALS

2.1. Check-In

Campers may check in anytime from 14H00

2.2. Late Arrivals

Arrival cannot be later than 20H00. There will be penalty of R250.00 for any late arrival which should be paid at the time of the late arrival.

3. DURING YOUR STAY:-

3.1. Programme

Please also let us have a copy of your programme not less than 5 days before your booking commences.

3.2. Alcohol, Drugs & Tobacco

NO ALCOHOL, Drugs or tobacco MAY BE BROUGHT ONTO OR CONSUMED ON THE PREMISES.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN ANY OF THE ACCOMMODATION ROOMS, HALLS,
BUILDINGS, OR ABLUTION BLOCKS. Failure to adhere, you will be removed from premises with immediate effect, unless at the discretion of the management can a matter be reviewed. In an instance where alcohol bottles are picked up from the premises during your stay, the leader will be held responsible and may also result to the camp being cancelled with immediate effect with no refunds.

3.3. Noise Regulation

NO NOISE AFTER 22H00 OR BEFORE 06H00 unless there is a special programme such as all-night prayers which need to be communicated with campsite management.

3.4. Responsibility

Lefika Prayer & Retreat Centre (LPRC) and its management will not be held liable for any loss, damage, theft or break-in during your stay in our premises. It is your responsibility to keep your doors locked and your cars locked. It is the responsibility of the campers to look after their properties such as phones, laptops, PA Systems, devices and any other equipment brought by the camper during their stay here at LPRC

3.5. Security

We will do our best to ensure the safety of our campers during their stay at Lefika Campsite.

3.6. First Aid Kit

There is a first Aid Kit available at the Campsite office.

3.7. Furniture

No furniture item(s) may be moved from one building to another. When we do audit after your stay and we don't find the furniture item in the designated room, we may take it as loss and charge it from your breakage and loss deposit. It is in your best interest not to move any furniture.

3.8. Parking

Parking of vehicles should be at designated areas shown to you by the staff at the LPRC.

3.9. Catering

Catering is offered by an independent service provider. You will receive a separate quotation to that effect. Our kitchen is off limits to campers or any external service providers.

3.10 Hall

Lefika Prayer & Retreat Centre (LPRC) management will allocate a hall to you according to your group needs. We currently have two halls and we reserve the right for allocation of a hall to your group based on the size of the group or your activities. THE HALL MAY COME AT A COST DEPENDING ON SIZE OF GROUP. Enqire about this upon booking.

3.11. Extras

Any extras such as, tents, extra chairs, decoration, video cameras, PA System, Projector and anything that doesn't automatically come with your booking can be supplied at extra cost.

If your PA System cannot be carried by our electricity (due to electricity problems in Kanana area where we are located), we will supply you with a generator but FUEL will be YOUR responsibility. Normal PA Systems can be carried by the current electricity voltage.

3.12. Lost and Found

Our office has a lost and found bin and if an item is not claimed within 30 days it will be given to those who may be deemed in need.

4. Departures

4.1. Vacating of Rooms

All campers to vacate the rooms by 10H00 & keys left behind the door

The Camper/ Group Coordinator/ Camp Organizer must hand in all the keys at the Campsite Office before leaving & checked with the campsite supervisor on duty that day. Any lost keys will be charged for at R100 per key. Any losses or damages may result in the breakage deposit not being refunded, in full.

4.2. Vacating of the Halls

All the halls are to be vacated no later than 12:00pm. Should these be exceeded, this may result deduction from your deposit. UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED WITH CAMPSITE MANAGEMENT IN WRITING.

5. CANCELLATION:

Should you need to cancel the booking the following conditions will apply:

5.1. NO cash refunds

Please note that there will be NO cash refunds irrespective of circumstances.

5.2. Future mutual date

However if you cancel two months before the date of the event, we can agree on a future date to come and camp at the Lefika Prayer & Retreat Centre (LPRC). Meaning, payments made will be credited towards the future proposed and agreed date. The terms and conditions of that current period requested will apply, (e.g. If prices have increased, you will be liable to pay the difference).

6. INDEMNITY & SIGNATURE
