Waranty is only valid if your contract contained a warranty.
ONE YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY:
EYP will repair blistering, peeling, chipping, and flaking coatings, caulk separation and carpentry repairs with structural failure because of flawed workmanship for a period up to one year beginning on the invoice date of the completed project and expiring at midnight on the 365th day.
CONDITIONS:
Client must have paid the full contract price within 5 days of the due date as outlined in their contract, be able to present the original contract upon request, be able to present proof of payment and allow EYP reasonable access to the property to make the repairs.
LIMITED WARRANTY ITEMS:
The following items are covered during the touch up process only.
Tape separation and nail pops. Both of these issues will continue to occur over the life of your home and are considered normal ongoing home maintenance.
The following items have a 90 day warranty.
Coatings on horizontal surfaces or any surfaces exposed to excessive sun or moisture. Surfaces include, but are not limited to, decks, railings, stairs, and porches.
Cracks in drywall or plaster indicative of stress.
Calk separation between exterior cement siding butt joints
Caulk separation on interior crown molding.
EXCLUSIONS:
The following items are not covered. Any performed work where the materials were not solely supplied by EYP. Any work that was not performed by EYP. Paint bleed-through caused by wood knots, rust, tannin, or chemicals not utilized by EYP. pressure treated substrates, and cracks in wood surfaces. Blistering, peeling, chipping or excessive chalking caused by abnormal use or abuse including damage form pets. Peeling or any other failure of coating layers below those applied by EYP. Structural defects caused by settling, movement, and sheering. Damaged coatings because of tape, abrasion, abuse, coarse cleaning, exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, or any other harmful solids, liquids, or gasses. Any cleaning of surfaces prior to curing will void the warranty. Most coatings take 30 days or longer to fully cure. Damages caused by fire, smoke, explosions, floods, acts of God, severe weather, alterations to original work, vandalism, negligence, or any causes that are beyond the control of EYP. Coating products are warranted by the Manufacturer. See paint label for specific details.
