Youth for Christ Canada: Mission Statement

As members of the Christian community, we will communicate to youth the life changing message of Jesus Christ, showing concern for their whole person, and challenging them to become His disciples.

Youth for Christ International: Statement of Faith

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

Support Raising

Will this role involve building a financial support team?*

Dear YU Staff Applicant:

As you know, YU Staff are missionaries who gather a support team of financial and prayer partners in order for them to be able to do their ministry. The process of gathering a support team takes many months, even up to a year or more. God’s provision through them is one of the ways He confirms that He is indeed leading an individual to minister as a YU Staff Member. Who might be on your support team? Consider the people that are already part of your life and your circles; people who know you and your heart for ministry. First think about those who would be willing to pray for you. Then think about who might give financially to help cover the costs of your salary, benefits, training and ministry expenses. Please start to prayerfully formulate a list of potential financial supporters using the My Future Support Team document that will be emailed to you once you submit this application. Bring this with you to your interview for discussion.
