Your donation will help the Michigan History Center design, fabricate and install a new immersive and interactive exhibit for the Michigan Iron Industry Museum that showcases the Yankee, one of the oldest surviving steam locomotives in the country. It was used to haul iron ore out of the Jackson Mine in Negaunee from 1868 to 1895.. The Center needs to raise $150,000 to complete the exhibit, from design to fabrication to installation.
