  • READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING.

    We choose submissions based on each individual idea.
    Strong, original ideas and prime body placement will take priority. Tyler focuses exclusively on realistic portraits and painterly pieces. He is NOT currently accepting any requests for dragons, mermaids, full body portraits of mythical creatures (will however, potentially consider facial portraits), Full body portraits of people, Script / lettering, cover ups or reworks of any kind - and he will not finish another artist's work.
    We do our best to accept as many appointments as we can, but due to Tyler’s continuously increasing demand, it can be a difficult task; so please be advised that by just submitting an application does not guarantee an appointment at any point. If we choose your application, we will contact you. We do try to respond to everyone’s emails, however, If you have not heard back from us within 30 days, it is best to assume that your submission has not been selected at this time. We do still highly encourage you to submit other ideas you’re interested in committing to once books open up again though! Tyler's books open on April 1st & October 1st every year but due to the high volume of requests we recieve, we close his books usually within a few days from their opening date.
    If your submission is selected and an appointment date is offered and accepted, it will be for the approved design within this form ONLY. Any changes must be resubmitted/requested and approved well in advance of your appointment date. Any attempt to change the idea the day of your appointment may be subject to loss of appointment and deposit.

  • Tyler’s rates, per day/appointment, are as follows:
    $1800 minimum for anything up to 4hrs

    $2300 for anything between 4 - 7hrs

    (Be advised: Tyler's minimum is $1,800 regardless of whether or not you're able to sit for the full 4hrs. Your budget that you submit based on his rates do not determine a guaranteed length of sit time for that day; it's merely for both parties to know what you are comfortable with potentially doing for that session, if available. Depending on the amount of detail going into an overall bigger design, it's at the artist's discretion to end the session at the minimum 4hr mark if they see fit to avoid the risk of being unable to finish a new section of artwork to completion in the remaining time.)

    No artwork will be drawn up ahead of your scheduled appointment.
    All artwork is designed the night before or on the day of your appointment date.

    AVAILABILITY: Appointment slots will begin at 10am, Monday-Friday.

     
    DEPOSIT: A $100 deposit is required (for each appointment date) to be made with a credit card over the phone with either our Shop Manager, Casey or Assistant Shop Manager, Nicole. This deposit is due immediately at the time of booking the appointment, after the design is discussed, and an appointment date has been offered/accepted with our shop manager or our assistant manager. (NO appointments are secure without this!) We will only hold potential dates for up to 48 hours after a date has been offered as dates are offered to multiple clients simultaneously. Dates are secured on a first-deposit-received basis. If we have not received a deposit by the end of said 48 hours, that date will then be released to the next available client. 

    This deposit is non refundable. All deposits are subtracted from the final cost of your tattoo.

    TYLER'S CANCELLATION LIST

    **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY**

    Availability due to cancellations are typically last minute and require a flexible schedule. Please consider your schedule and realistic budget before joining. Multiple denied offers will result in the removal from this list.

  • TERMS & CONDITIONS:

    GUEST POLICY: All appointments with Tyler are client-only. Guests are not permitted in the room during your session outside of accessibility/accommodation needs. This ensures a comfortable and focused environment for everyone involved and ensures that Tyler can dedicate his full attention to your work. There are several options nearby including restaurants, a mall, and outdoor shopping to occupy their time during your session. Please plan accordingly prior to your appointment.

    PAYMENT METHOD/GRATUITY: Cash is preferred. Cards are happily accepted, however, there is a 3% surcharge via Square. 

    While tipping is not mandatory or expected, it's always greatly appreciated! As a general guide: a 15-20% tip is customary within the tattoo industry, but tips can range anywhere between 10%-30%. This is completely at your discretion.

    DEPOSITS: Deposits are non refundable and cannot be transferred to another artist.

    CONFIRMATION NOTICE: Please keep an eye out for our email leading up to your appointment & respond back as soon as you’re able. As your appointment approaches, we will reach out to confirm the details with you 2 weeks prior to your scheduled date. If you do not confirm the advancement within 72 hours (3 business days) of the email being sent, we will send out one more attempt by email or phone. However, if we do not hear back within this time frame, the appointment is subject to cancellation at our discretion, no matter how far you are traveling. 

    RESCHEDULING: If you are rescheduling at the last minute, you will only be able to transfer your deposit over once for your new date. If you need to reschedule last minute again after that, we will require another $100 deposit. If you need to reschedule more than two times, this will result in the original deposit being foreitted and a new one collected to secure a future booking. If you are unwilling or unable to reschedule in the situation of an emergency, we will try to work with you to provide a solution.  


    CANCELLATIONS/NO-SHOWS: If you wish to cancel your appointment alltogether, your deposit will not be refunded. No-Showing for your appointment can result in the loss of all potential future appointments.

     

    RUNNING LATE?: If you feel you are running behind and are going to be late to your appointment, we ask that you call the shop to make us aware of your ETA. Running late may affect the length of your appointment. After 15-30 minutes past your scheduled time without a heads up will result in the loss of your appointment no matter how far you are traveling from.

     
    APPOINTMENT LENGTH: Once you arrive for check in at 10am, Tyler will pop into the lobby to see you briefly and go over any last minute details or questions he may have about your design. Tattooing can be a lengthy process so we suggest clearing your personal schedule for the day of your appointment. Discussing the final design and setup, as well as discussing aftercare and breakdown can add a few more hours to the length of your appointment (you are not being charged during this extra time!). Please discuss any same-day engagements you may have in advance in case we may need to reschedule you due to the time restraint.

     
    TERMINATION OF PROJECT: We reserve the right to terminate involvement in an appointment or ongoing project at our sole discretion. Reasons for termination may include but are not limited to excessive lateness, repeated rescheduling/cancellations, numerous revisions to the overall scope of the project, etc. Termination of project is not grounds for refund of any existing payments/deposits.

     
    ARTWORK: All designs produced by Tyler remain his intellectual property and may be re-used at his or his managers' discretion for any purpose.

     
    PHOTOGRAPHS: You will likely be asked to have photos and/or videos taken by Tyler once your tattoo is finished. By submitting this form, you grant the unrestricted right to the images taken for promotional, educational or editorial purposes. Any restrictions or questions must be stated clearly and immediately in the provided section above while filling out and submitting this form.

     
    CONSENT: By proceeding with an appointment request, you are agreeing to all of the above terms.
