All helicopters must land on a Helicopter Landing Site (HLS) within the Park which will be designated once the booking has been confirmed. It will be a grassed area upon which there will be no helipad marked out. Blenheim will endeavour to establish a HLS in close proximity to your property or the venue location which is being attended, however this cannot be guaranteed and will be directed by operational requirements.
An image of the HLS will be sent on confirmation of the booking, or wherever a change to the HLS is made for operational reasons.
By requesting to land at Blenheim, you confirm the following:
- You understand that the Blenheim landing sites are not licensed and that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied as to the suitability of the facilities for your purposes and understand that Blenheim provides no warranty in this respect.
- You will utilise the HLS designated by Blenheim Palace unless immediate safety concerns direct otherwise. In this instance abort landing and inform Blenheim Palace Operations at +44 (0)1993 227 127 / +44 (0)1993 815 607, who will work to provide an alternate HLS location wherever possible.
- You will also ensure that you comply with any CAA requirements relating to landing, taking off and flying over open air assemblies.
- You will indemnify Blenheim Palace Heritage Foundation, Salon Privé, and all officers, employees, servants, and agents thereof in respect of any liabilities, direct or indirect and of any kind whatsoever arising out of the use of the facilities by your aircraft.
- Blenheim Palace Operations must receive a final call prior to take-off to confirm / agree landing conditions are still in effect at +44 (0)1993 227 127 / +44 (0)1993 815 607.
