Thank you for your interest in purchasing one of our puppies. To aid in pairing each family with the pup who best fits what they are looking for in a dog, we ask that you complete this application and submit it once you are done. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse the sale of any puppy if we feel you are not a good match for a Nosam Puppy.

Applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. When the application and contract are received, you will be required to place a $600.00 deposit to hold your position on our list. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a different list later on. If we don't feel it will be a good fit, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Please understand this application is not geared to be pushy or ask personal questions. We do not believe it is our place to ask how much income you make, how big your home/yard is, etc. We feel it is YOUR responsibility to ensure you can meet the needed requirements for owning this particular breed before purchasing. However, as a breeder, it is our job to place puppies in their "Forever Homes" We will not place a puppy with just anyone we do have the right to refuse the sale of puppies to anyone at any time for any reason. We only ask needed questions to ensure you have done this research in advance.

Each puppy is an individual. Just as no two children in a family are identical, no two puppies are exactly alike. Nor are any two prospective homes the same. During the first 8-9 weeks of the puppies’ lives, I will be observing and evaluating their physical and personality traits. I will compare my observations to the information on each questionnaire to try to determine the most appropriate home for each puppy by matching the needs of each individual dog to each prospective owner’s lifestyle.

Therefore, the answers you provide in this questionnaire are vital in assisting me in matching your home with the right puppy. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers. Some of the questions may seem personal; however, candor and honesty are very important—remember, I’m trusting you for the lifetime of the dog.

We understand this can be a very exciting time for our potential puppy buyers! To hold your spot on our list a $600 non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit goes towards the final purchase price of the puppy.

Not all dogs should be bred, as breeders, we understand this. There are risks involved when breeding dogs, including the health and death of the female and litter. Therefore, Nosam Kennels has chosen to limit the registration of their puppies in an effort to educate Puppy Buyers as well as protect and maintain the integrity of the breeds. The decision will be made together whether the dog in question should be bred. Ultimately, we hold our Puppy Buyers to the same standards we hold ourselves when determining if a dog should be bred and that it would be an improvement to the breed. Therefore all puppies will be sold on limited NAVHDA or AKC registration and breeding rights will only be released when a signed contract is met. All dogs will be required to be spayed & neutered if they have not met the requirements for full AKC.*

DEPOSITS: Please note deposits will not be returned if a puppy is not available for the sex/color Puppy Buyer has requested. However, the deposit will be transferred to another litter in the event a puppy is not available for the sex/color the Puppy Buyer has requested. The puppy Buyer will be allowed to move to the end of the deposit list of available puppies of the opposite sex/color or move to the next list for an upcoming or planned breeding.

If you choose to push your deposit back, you will no longer be locked into the original price format. If the price increases, you will have to pay whatever the price is at the time you choose to get a puppy. If you change your mind about the purchase you can use the deposit later but it will not be refunded.

All deposits will include a 6% sales tax & PayPal fee.

PUPPY SELECTION: The date that your deposit is received will determine the order of availability. The order of deposit does not determine a pick order. It does not matter if you are the 1st deposit or the 8th deposit because we do not establish picking orders on a first-come, first-served basis. Nosam Kennels will carefully match you up with a puppy based on our discussions, the information you submitted in your application, and after evaluating each puppy in the litter. We feel that this method provides the best chance of success in matching each client with the best possible dog for them. We select puppies for clients because we want you to be happy with your dog! We will send frequent photos/videos throughout development. Nosam reserves the right to first pick on all litters.

PUPPY PICK-UP: We prefer you pick up your puppy at our home in Kentucky. Puppies leave for new homes at 8 Weeks of age. Nosam is not responsible for the shipping/delivery of your dog and all costs will be the buyer's expense. If you choose to have your puppy delivered, then payment must be received (7 days) before the puppy is set to leave.

If an arrangement is made for a later pickup date, there will be a $50 fee per day to board your puppy. This fee will be required to be paid before the puppy is picked up. We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe.

CONTRACT: We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason, it's a bit lengthy. All buyers will be required to submit an electronic form upon joining our list and sign a paper copy at pick up. This will cover expectations, health guarantees, and more.

We offer a health guarantee against genetic issues that interfere with the vital functions of the puppy. Even with health testing, things can still pop up from the generations before. If this happens, we are entitled to a second opinion. If the issue is ruled as genetic, you will be offered a refund upon return of the original puppy. More details are in our actual contract.
