Our application helps us learn more about your family, lifestyle, experience, and goals so we can make the best puppy placement possible. There are no perfect answers; we simply want to get to know you and understand what you're looking for in your next dog.

Before applying: This application is for families ready to move forward with joining one of our litter lists. If you're still gathering information or have questions about availability, timing, pricing, or whether a GSP or Vizsla is the right fit, please contact us first. We're happy to schedule a phone conversation.

Once you're ready to move forward, the process includes completing this application, submitting the $600 deposit, and reviewing and signing our puppy contract.

What do you plan to do with your dog

Nosam breeds versatile hunting dogs, but we know not every puppy will go to a hunting home. Many of our dogs are first and foremost loved family companions and that is absolutely welcome.Because preserving natural ability is an important part of our breeding program, we love to see our puppy families give their Nosam dog an opportunity to try something it was bred to do. This might include hunting, an AKC Hunt Test, NAVHDA, dock diving, scent work, or another performance event.You do not need any prior experience or plans to compete seriously. We are happy to help new owners get started and find something they and their dog enjoy.Would you be interested in trying hunting or a performance event with your Nosam dog?

Do you hunt and if so how many times a year? What are you hoping to hunt? Upland/Water fowl/Blood tracking? If you do not hunt that's ok but we need to know what kind of energy you need in a puppy just type I do not plan to hunt if you don't hunt:

Breeding Restrictions: Nosam puppies are placed on AKC Limited Registration unless you enter into a separate show/co-ownership agreement in advance.

Limited Registration does not prevent your dog from participating in AKC Hunt Tests, NAVHDA, dock diving, agility, Fast CAT, or most other performance events.

If you are interested in showing in conformation or potentially breeding your Nosam dog in the future, please let us know. We consider these placements individually and require a separate agreement, health testing, and additional requirements.

Having a yard can be a great asset, but dogs—especially active breeds—still need regular exercise, mental stimulation, and social interaction beyond backyard time. Dogs need regular opportunities to leave the home for exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation. Do you have an exercise and socialization plan that extends beyond a fenced in yard?

On an average day, how much intentional exercise or activity do you expect to provide your adult dog?

DEPOSITS:

A $600 non-refundable deposit is required when you submit this application and will be applied toward your puppy's total purchase price.

Your deposit secures your place for the sex and, if applicable, color selected on your application. Deposits do not establish a puppy pick order. We match puppies to families after evaluations based on temperament, structure, family lifestyle, and individual goals.

If the requested sex or color is not available, we may transfer your deposit to the next applicable litter. If you choose to change your requested sex or color after submitting your deposit, your placement on the list may change.

Deposits are non-refundable except in circumstances outlined in our contract involving events beyond our control.

CONTRACT

We require a signed contract prior to placing any puppy. We believe it is both responsible and professional to clearly outline our mutual obligations in writing so expectations are understood and there are no questions later. For that reason, our contract is detailed.

All buyers must submit an electronic version of the contract when joining our waitlist and will sign a paper copy at puppy pickup. The contract outlines expectations, health guarantees, return policies, and other important ownership terms.

We offer a health guarantee against genetic conditions that interfere with the puppy’s vital functions. While our breeding dogs are health-tested, genetics can still be influenced by prior generations. If you have a concern, we reserve the right to obtain a second veterinary opinion. If the condition is determined to be genetic, we will offer the buyer a refund upon return of the original puppy.
