You are entering this parade at your own risk. The City of Lacombe assumes no liabilities. All entries shall provide their own liability insurance.
Entries must be at the marshalling area between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m. Please watch for Parade Marshalls and staff who will direct you to the staging area at Ecole Lacombe Junior High 5830 50st.
Parents dropping off children who are in the parade should park at the Travelodge and walk east to the staging area.
To keep your children safe, only parade floats will have vehicle access to the staging area. Verbally abusing Parade Marshalls monitoring barricades or threatening with their vehicles will not be tolerated.
The Committee encourages each motorized entry to have lights for maximum effect and walkers MUST have some kind of device(s) that flash or glow and is attached to their clothing/costume.
Drivers of motorized vehicles MUST be at least 16 years of age.
There is only ONE Santa Claus at the end of the parade. Floats are welcome to use other Christmas characters on their float but please refrain from using a Santa Claus costume.
Any entry with animals MUST provide proof of liability insurance along with the entry form.
Any parade entry with a music element must let organizers know at the time of submitting this entry form.
The Parade Committee reserves the right to refuse access to the parade by any entry deemed unsuitable or dangerous.
Item such as candy, balloons, etc., may be given out to spectators by your designated “walkers” who accompany the entry and hand such treats out from a safe distance by using small bags or pails. To keep children safe and prevent them from running near the wheels of the floats, there is to be NO THROWING OF TREATS from the floats.
Entries must not deviate from the established parade route unless directed by a police officer or parade official.
Smoking, or consuming alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited at all times during the parade.
As you drive, you may encounter travelling Parade Marshalls who have the authority to ask you to slow down, speed up, etc. Please respect and follow their instructions.

Parade will be held November 23, 2023 at 6:00pm.
