Instructions:
In accordance with BC Hockey Policy C.08 Section II (b):

A participant who participates in a non-sanctioned league (NSL) game(s) after the Cut-off date (Sept 30) may apply for early reinstatement of their eligibility to participate in BC Hockey sanctioned programs on the basis of special circumstances.

BC Hockey retains sole discretion to grant or deny a request for early reinstatement and may do so only where it is satisfied that special circumstances exist and the following conditions have been met. Requests must follow the process outlined below and be submitted by the participant seeking reinstatement or, where applicable, the participant's parent(s) or guardian(s). 

Reinstatement Request Process

1. Completion of the Policy C.08 Reinstatement Request Form

2. Submit a letter of position from the participant's prospective Member organization (e.g. Minor Hockey Association, Member Program or Junior team), addressing each of the following requirements: 

1. Cessation of NSL Participation: The participant seeking reinstatement has confirmed the cessation of all NSL game participation for the remainder of the current season.
   
   NOTE: Resuming participation in NSL games after reinstatement has been approved will result in the participant returning to ineligible status. In such cases, the participant may not be eligible to submit any further requests for early reinstatement during the same season. 
2. Placement: The participant has been identified for addition to an existing team roster or to a team roster with which they were previously registered, within an appropriate category of play. 
   
   
3. Disruption or Displacement: The participant's addition will not displace any existing registered player or cause unnecessary disruption to the existing players on the team or within the program they have been identified to join. 

3. Submit a letter of position from the applicable regional Member (e.g. District MHA or League), addressing the information provided by the Member organization in #2 (above) and its position regarding the participant's request for reinstatement.
