In 1999, USMC established a permanent endowment to ensure income would be available each year to enhance, furnish and renovate student facilities. This has allowed SMCSU, in collaboration with the President's Office, to make yearly infrastructure improvements to our campus. Here are some of the projects that have been made possible by the Student Improvement Fund:
- Brennan Hall men's and women's washroom renovations
- Student weight room & wellness center renovations
- Brennan Hall trophy case
- Installation of 12 drinking fountains
- New furniture in Kelly Café and Brennan Lounge
- Kitchenette renovation in the old SMCSU office
- Renovation of the stage in Alumni Hall 100
- Outdoor skating rink
- Phone Charging Stations
- Sorbara Hall Flooring Updates
- Queens Park Building Washroom renovations
- Commuter Lounge Renovation
This year, we would like to have your input! Below, you may indicate any project ideas (ex. a new study space) or infrastructure improvements (ex. renovate bathrooms on campus). Any ideas indicated here will be discussed during the open meeting!
