IAFF Local 1159 Foundation
The Professional Fire Fighters of Clackamas County Local 1159 will award $500 and $750* scholarships to graduating children of Local 1159 members or active Local 1159 retired members each calendar year. Students attending any community college, four-year college, university or trade school are eligible. The scholarship will be dispersed to the recipient, or the recipient’s school of choice in one installment. This is a one-time award.

Application must be submitted by May 31st to be eligible.

The final selection will be made by the Local 1159 Scholarship Committee. Recipients and their respective high school counselors will be notified by email of their award. Applicants not receiving an award will also be notified by email. Any questions can be directed to info@local1159.com.

*Recipient's parent or active retired member must be a donor to the Local 1159 Foundation for recipient to be eligible for the $750 scholarship.
