Event Details:
- Please arrive at the check-in area at NEWTOWN BICYCLE SHOP, 30 N STATE ST, NEWTOWN, PA 18940, between 9 and 11 AM on Saturday, October 11th to receive window assignments and collect paints and pumpkins. *Rain date is Sunday, October 12th.
- A $10 registration fee (cash only) will be collected upon check-in.
- While we try to accommodate requests for specific windows, availability may vary.
- All window paintings must be completed by 4:00 PM.
Painting Rules:
- Neatness is essential for the event's success. Please respect our hosts' property by painting only within the designated window areas. Avoid painting on the background, window trim, or sidewalks. Take your trash with you; do not use State Street's trash receptacles.
- Bring your own supplies: brushes, paper towels, tarp for protecting windowsills and sidewalks, water, and a container for cleaning brushes. Acrylic paint can stain unprotected surfaces or clothing.
- Paintings should be freehand and family-friendly, with a Fall/Halloween theme or related to the shop's merchandise or services. Any inappropriate artwork will be removed promptly.
- Children under 13 and group participants must be accompanied by an adult at all times for safety.
- Prioritize safety by following your organization's guidelines and working within your comfort level.
Prizes and Updates:
- Winner announcements will be made before October 31st on our Facebook page. Prizes can be collected after the Halloween Parade or at Newtown Bicycle Shop.
