UVA's Summer Arts Festival: Food Vendor Application

Food Vendors are placed in the McMenamin's Food Court where they will create delicious sweet and savory treats for visitors to enjoy! The high traffic Food Court, that surrounds the festival Main Stage, is a very important piece of the community festival offering endless culinary creations and serving as a popular gathering space during the weekend event.
All applications for Food Vendors are reviewed and juried by UVA Staff and Food Court Sub-Committee on a rolling basis. The festival committee does their best to ensure all small businesses in the Food Court have a successful and positive event experience, by curating a diverse and unique group of culinary vendors each year for the 10,000 festival attendees to support. If selected, you will receive the festival Food Court map and set up information during the week of June 10th-June 14th.
ALL PARTICIPATING FOOD VENDORS MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CITY OF ROSEBURG'S 2024 PARKS RULES & REGULATIONS (as they apply to mobile food vendors in City of Roseburg parks). This includes providing UVA with a City of Roseburg Business Registration Card and Proof of Insurance (listing the City as additionally insured), by June 1, 2024. The City of Roseburg Business Registration fee is $150. As long as the ownership and location of the business remain the same, this is a one-time registration with a one-time $150.00 non-refundable fee. If you have any questions about this, please review the City of Roseburg's 2024 Parks Rules & Regulations under sections 5 and 6.
Food Vendor registration is $425 flat fee. This payment is due within 30 days of your written acceptance notification.
Food Vendor Arrival, Festival and Departure Timeline:
- Food Vendors MUST set up on Thursday June 27, 2024, starting at 10am at the specific times assigned on the Food Court Map by the festival committee. These times and placements are to be adhered to without exception. These times will be assigned June 10th - June 14th.
- Food Vendors will be hand-delivered their festival hospitality packets on Thursday during trailer/booth set-up and are not required to to to the Vendor Hospitality check-in.
- Festival Friday June 28th Hours: 10am-8pm (Art Vendors), 11am-9pm (Entertainment and Food Vendors)
- Festival Saturday June 29th Hours: 10am-8pm (Art Vendors), 11am-9pm (Entertainment and Food Vendors)
- Festival Sunday June 30th Hours: 10am-4pm (All Art Vendors, Entertainment, and Food Vendors)
- No opening late or closing early options during the three days. All Food Vendors are required to be open 11am-9pm Fri & Sat, and 10am-4pm on Sunday.
- Load-Out: Begins Sunday, June 30, completed by 7pm.
