  • Hello, and welcome to RPG Events!

     

    RPG Events are a small production crew that organise boutique "concept" events in the Canberra region. With each event limited to a maximum of 200 participants, the idea is to stay raw, invisible and underground through the construction of a private community of individuals with similar interests. Our events aim to enrich lives through art, culture, socialising, music and nature. These include projects ranging from bbqs, to doofs, hikes, birthday parties, weddings, dinners, online events, interstate trips and similar.

    Tech Rider:

     

    For all our 2025 gigs (apart from Timeless) we will be running a Pioneer XDJ-XZ setup. This is our in-house controller that we own and by and large we try to use this as often as possible. The reality is that the NXS2 setups are now getting quite old and unreliable and the cost of hiring the newer CDJ-3000s and V10/A9 is prohibitive for us given the typical size of gigs in this region.

    We have a clean EV system for front of house, 2x 15inch alto monitors and a DBX-PA2 driverack to tune the system. We also have 2x Shure SM58 microphones with stands and a large Megadeck DJ table (dimensions 2.4m x 0.6m x 1.0m).

    If possible, we would like you to assist us with two small aspects of promotion. A few weeks out from the event, we will send you a copy of the flyer (with your name on it) and a link for people to buy tickets. If you could please post this up on your social media that would be much appreciated. So that all the artists and crew don't post on exactly the same day we will try to stagger this release.

     

    Also, all artists will be sent artist tiles before the event as well. Please feel free to use these in your own personal promotion.

    Set and performance times will be confirmed in most cases when we first speak with you via phone or text, but will be 100% finalised within 2 weeks of the event. Most sets will be 1-2.5 hours in duration. We are excited to showcase a diverse set of sounds at our events spanning the full spectrum of electronic music, as well as a wide array of talented performing artists.
