Manasota ASALH Freedom School is excited to announce that our Fall-Spring enrollment for K-12 students is now open! Embark on a dynamic educational journey with us as we explore the rich heritage, contributions, and culture of African Americans and the broader African Diaspora. Our engaging Saturday classes, held at Girls Inc., 201 S. Tuttle Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237, are specifically designed to provide an in-depth and truthful education in Black History, tailored for young learners from the Sarasota and Manatee communities. These classes begin on November 2nd at 11:30 a.m., and we offer rolling enrollment to accommodate your family's schedule.

In addition to our youth classes, we are excited to introduce Adult Sessions that will run concurrently from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. every Saturday. These sessions feature a variety of speakers who are experts and enthusiasts in fields related to African American history, Black History, and the African Diaspora, covering topics that include history, culture, arts, and current societal issues. We warmly invite parents and families who are interested in learning alongside their children to join these enriching and interactive adult sessions. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to engage in educational growth together, enhancing the learning experience for both children and adults.
