  • ClearWater Conservancy will hold its 26th annual Art & Chocolate fundraising event on Feb. 2, 2024 at 3 Dots Downtown. A key fundraiser for our organization since 1999, this event brings together local artists and local restaurants to support the conservation of open space in our community. 

    Prior to the event, the artwork donated to the auction will be on display in the 3 Dots gallery space. This exhibit will open Dec. 15, 2023 and run through Feb. 2, 2024. Tickets are not required to attend the event on Feb. 2, and the 3 Dots gallery is free and open to the public whenever the community space is open.

    Your donation supports ClearWater's land and water conservation and restoration efforts while also promoting open access to the arts and our local food and art scenes. We are grateful for the local art community’s support for more than 25 years and look forward to sharing your work with our community during the gallery exhibit and celebration!

  • FEATURED ARTWORK
    This year, in addition to seeking donations from regional artists in support of ClearWater’s local conservation mission, we are also seeking a special piece to serve as the visual representation of this year’s event. 

    In the past, we have used winter landscapes or scenery or creatures found in our winter woods, but seasonality or even representative of nature is not a requirement. "Inspired by nature" is a theme on which you can draw.

    All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. Winning artwork will be featured on the invitation and in promotion of the exhibit and event.

    Requirements & Judging
    All pieces submitted to be considered for the featured artwork must also be donated to the Art & Chocolate online auction that raises funds for ClearWater Conservancy’s local conservation work.

    The chosen artwork may be used in whole or in part as part of a graphic design; text may overlay the images and other distortions may be necessary. Any artist submitting to this contest must agree to use in this manner, with artist approval before printing.

  • Important Dates

    Applications for featured art due: Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023

  • USAGE RIGHTS

    This Agreement represents terms and conditions beetween artist and ClearWater Conservancy. Before submitting their artwork all artists who want to participate in the featured art competition must agree to the following:

    - ClearWater Conservancy will use your images only for marketing, promotional, and display purposes in print and online.

    - The original (or print) piece will be donated to the Art & Chocolate silent auction.

    - Artist shall retain all copyrights of any image they submit.
