The revised course is offered in an online format and includes an optional in-person supplement. In-person test designed to meet New York State Aquatic Director for Children’s Camp Bathing Facility requirements. In person testing with a certified instructor is REQUIRED for certification to be valid in NYS.

Provides individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in non-surf, open-water areas found at public parks, resorts, summer camps, and campgrounds. *Add on rate is for individuals that ALREADY POSSESS a certificate in Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid & require a  separate waterfront certification

Prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in aquatic facilities with waterpark features.  *Original rate is for individuals that DO NOT posses an original lifeguard certificate AND require a separate waterpark certification 

The purpose of this instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program including Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim, Adult Swim, Private Lessons, Water Safety Courses (including Safety Training for Swim Coaches*) and Water Safety Presentations. THREE DAY CLASS Sat. June 21 / 9:00AM - 3:00PM Sat. June 28 / 9:00AM - 3:00PM Sun. June 29 / 9:00AM - 3:00PM

The primary purpose of a recertification course is to give participants who are currently certified American Red Cross Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) the opportunity to review the course knowledge and skills within a formal course setting to maintain their American Red Cross Lifegaurding (including Deep Water) certification.  Sat.
