The National Kidney Foundation Professional Councils are pleased to offer educational stipends of up to $500 to help offset travel costs for current members to attend the 2025 NKF Spring Clinical Meetings (SCM25). The stipend award includes complimentary registration to attend SCM25 in-person. SCM25 will take place in Boston, MA with pre-conference courses on April 9 and the main conference running from April 10 to 13, 2025.

Current NKF Professional Members of CNNT, CNSW, CAPP, and CRN. Applicable to the following NKF Professional Membership types only:

Please ensure you have an applicable, nonexpired NKF Membership and have read and reviewed all requirements below BEFORE submitting an application.

Requirements for stipend recipients:

1.) Must respond to email award notification, following instructions to accept the stipend award by the specified deadline. Stipends that are unaccepted by the deadline will be awarded to the next member on the waiting list.

2.) Must attend the majority of the 2025 NKF Spring Clinial Meetings (SCM25) in-person. Stipends are not awarded for virtual-only attendance.

3.) Must submit a 500-word limit summary report of one (1) SCM session attended to their Council's Publications Chair, after the conclusion of SCM25. Stipend recipient reports will be published in the member-only RenaLink newsletter. Recipients will be contacted by their Council Publications Chair with more information ahead of SCM25.

Note: Educational stipends are awarded based on merit and completion of the following application form. Persons presenting original research or Abstracts may be given preference. Award amounts are designated by each Executive Council's Review Committee.

Award notification and procurement:

1.) Award notifications will be sent to the email provided in this form by Friday, January 31, 2025.

2.) Awardees will be required to accept their award by submitting a completed W-9 form along with written confirmation of intent to attend SCM25 in-person in Boston, MA, by the provided deadline.

3.) Stipends will be paid out via paper check. Recipients must pick up their stipend check in-person at the SCM25 Information Desk in Boston, MA. A valid photo ID is required for pick up.
