Gift Registry Donor Acceptance Criteria
It is appreciated that each Donor is contributing to the Friends of STARTTS Refugee Ball on a charitable basis. Accordingly, it will be at the discretion of STARTTS events team as to the acceptance and use of each item donation regarding its suitability for best supporting delivery of the event. Unappropriated items will be entered into STARTTS' charitable provisioning services, unless the 'return request' checkbox has been selected in this form.
Donors acknowledge and consent to their name and brand being used, disclosed, and publicised for the purpose of operating and promoting the Refugee Ball, to list the Item on any fundraising platform and to support Donor exposure, unless the ‘anonymous’ checkbox has been selected in this form. Such exposure may include digital marketing and social media posts. Supplementary personal information will only be used for correspondence and to arrange for the collection or delivery of an item, and otherwise be handled in accordance with STARTTS Privacy Policy.
Gifted items are received to support the Refugee Ball fundraising event. There is no agency, partnership, joint venture or employment relationship intended or created by or arising out of the Gift Registry. STARTTS does not represent or act for any Donor nor does it endorse any Donor, and the Donor must not hold itself as being an agent, a representative or an affiliate of STARTTS.
You must only donate Items that you own. If you are donating an item that is a service you must ensure you or those persons carrying out the service are adequately qualified to do so. You will not donate Items that:
· are prohibited in Australia
· you know to be unsafe
· are not in a reasonable condition
· are not fit for the purpose they are intended to be used; or
· you do not own
