I understand that Little Forest Explorers, LLC may encounter possible school closures due to severe weather conditions such as wind 21+ mph, COVID 19 exposure, lightning in the park, an AQI (air quality index) of 101+, or a PM (particulate matter) of 2.5+. I further understand that these safety closure days will not be refunded from the cost of tuition. If this happens, we will do our best to make arrangements to have our school continued at Academy of Sciences or The Exploratorium in such cases.

I acknowledge that my child's photo will be taken on a daily basis for observations, keep sakes for child's family, recap of child's day at school to be sent to child's family, and may be used on Little Forest Explorers, LLC website. This is an important part of what makes Little Forest Explorers so unique. You do not miss a moment of your child's day and are able to see over time how far your child's confidence and self-esteem has developed. These pictures are sent to you each day on our WhatsApp group chat along with a write-up (blog) about early childhood development and their challenges along with suggestions on how to handle them.

I understand that school hours are from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. I understand if I am more than 10 minutes late dropping off my child, I should be prepared to escort my child to the designated morning meeting spot. I understand that if I am more than 10 minutes late picking up my child (3:10 pm), I will be charged $20.00, the same amount for after school care. If I leave my child past 3:10 pm on a Friday, I will be charged a $35.00 late fee.

If I choose to take advantage of after-school care from 3:00-4:00 pm. I agree to pay $20.00/day for each day I leave my child past 3:10 pm until no later than 4:00 pm. I agree that after-school care is only offered Monday-Thursday and is NOT offered on Fridays. If I leave my child past 3:10 pm on a Friday, I will be charged a $35.00 late fee.

In consideration of my participation and the participation of my child(ren) in the activities of Little Forest Explorers, LLC, I hereby release Little Forest Explorers, LLC from any liability for injuries or loss which I or my minor child(ren) may incur as a result of said activities for so long and I or my child(ren) participate in said activities. I hereby acknowledge that some activities may involve risk taking and may involve working with potentially dangerous materials (fire, actual tools, etc.). However, I fully accept these risks for me and my child(ren) and agree to hold harmless and free from any and all liability Little Forest Explorers, LLC, Golden Gate Park, the City and County of San Francisco, Ocean Beach (United States of America), all volunteers, and employees for injuries which may be incurred while engaged in said activities.
