OVERVIEW
Have you dreamed or wondered what it would be like to show your work in a Museum? Then this is the event for you! This event/exhibition is an opportunity for all artists to showcase their work in a museum setting with the opportunity to support the Coral Springs Museum of Art. All proceeds support arts programming for all ages and help us continue to offer free admission. Join the fun and help us EMPTY OUR WALLS!

COST:
- FREE for Active Museum Members + Contributing Artists
- $5 for General Public
SCHEDULE: Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 5:30 - 8:30pm
- 5:30pm-6:15pm - Museum members only - (FREE)
- 6:30pm-7:15pm - Ticket Holders ($5/person) + Members
- 7:30pm-8:30pm - General Public + Museum Members - FREE

SALE: Artwork will be sold at multiple times during the event.
PROCEEDS:
We hope to showcase 250+ pieces of art at the museum. All donated artwork will be sold for $25.00 each.
- All proceeds help support the museum programs and free admission.
- Donated proceeds are tax deductible.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
AMOUNT:
Artists may submit up to 6 pieces of artwork.
ONE SIZE ONLY:
6 INCHES X 6 INCHES ON CANVAS OR CRADLE BOARD OR, if your art is on paper (watercolor, pen and ink, pastel, etc.), you can frame your art as long as the outer frame is no larger than 6 INCHES X 6 INCHES and is ready to hang.
- Canvas/Cradles can be purchased at Michaels, Amazon, Dick Blick, etc. They run around $2.00 each
- Free-of-charge canvases will be available for pick-up at the Coral Springs Museum of Art during gallery hours.
- All artwork must be original in interpretation and composition.
- CSMoA reserves the right to reject artwork that is deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
- Artists agree that CSMoA can use images of their artwork for event promotions.
- Although we will treat your art as gently as possible, CSMoA is not responsible for any damaged art.
- NO hanging devices, hooks, or cables on the back of canvases or cradle boards. Cable or hanging strip is needed for framed art.
- 3D pieces cannot exceed 6 INCHES X 6 INCHES X 4 INCHES TOTAL DIMENSION.
- No wet paint or unsealed pastels/charcoals.
- Any medium that meets these guidelines is acceptable (fused glass, prints, fiber art, charcoal, pastels, paint, photography, collage, etc.)
- Artists may submit pieces as part of a series; however, each piece must work as a stand-alone as buyers are free to choose which pieces to buy. We cannot promise that a full series will be purchased or will be displayed.
DATES & DEADLINES:
In Person Delivery and/or Receipt of Shipped Work:
- Collection will take place January 22 through February 17, 2024
- Monday, Friday, and Saturday: 9AM-4:30PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9AM - 7PM
ELIGIBILITY:
The exhibition is open to artists:
- Youth/Teen ages 7 - 17
- Adult ages 18 and Up
SHIPPING/DELIVERY OF ARTWORK:
The artist is responsible for the cost of shipping or mailing artwork to The Coral Springs Museum of Art using UPS, Fed-X or DHL. Artwork may also be hand-delivered to the Coral Springs Museum of Art on the appropriate dates during the scheduled times.
MEDIA/PUBLIC RELATIONS:
The Coral Springs Museum Art reserves the right to use digital images of exhibited artwork for media, website, PR and advertising.
