The summer schools in France allow students to spend two weeks in France during the Summer to explore current global issues, improve their transversal skills and broaden their intellectual horizons. The summer schools in France are also open for students at MSIs (Minority Serving Institution) that receive the Pell grant including community college, HBCU, tribal college, hispanic serving institutions, predominantly Black Institutions, Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs), and Native American-Serving Nontribal Institutions (NASNTIs)!

Application Process
In this application form, you will be asked to select a first choice and a second choice of summer schools:
Please explain your choices of program and how this experience will be relevant to your academic and/or professional aspirations.
To complete your application, you will need to be nominated by an advisor/faculty member from your community college and upload your most recent transcript of records.
Application Guidelines:

- You do not need to complete this application in one sitting. To save your response, click "Save" located at the bottom of the page in the section "Submit Application". You will be able to access any work saved during your next session. However, once you SUBMIT your application, you CANNOT make changes to it.
- To submit your application, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Review Answers" - you will then be able to review your application and submit it.
- You must complete and submit this application by the deadline.

Scholarship
You will automatically be considered for a scholarship when submitting an application form.
The program fees are $2,400 + airfare. The fees cover:
- Tuition
- Housing
- Meals
- Activities and visits
- Airport/ train station pick-up and drop-off
- Local public transportation
The Embassy of France in the US through the Villa Albertine offers $1,400 scholarships to help students in the most precarious economic situations. The scholarship will thus be need-based, and selected students will only need to pay $1,000 as well as plane tickets to and from France.
