EXECUTIVE BOARD APPLICATION

Thank you for being interested in being part of Parent for the Arts (P4A) Executive Board. P4A operates as the parent/family support group of Natomas Charter School’s Performing & Fine Arts Academy (PFAA). The mission of P4A is to create community and enhance the overall student learning experience by bringing together and supporting PFAA students, admin, and parents.

President - primary duties include: Collaborate with PFAA admin to coordinate school events and activities; Coordinate the work of P4A officers, parent class/booster representatives, chairs, and committees to promote P4A Objectives; Preside over all P4A meetings; Appoint parent class/booster representatives and committee chairs as deemed necessary for the school year; Approve all check requests.Treasurer - primary duties include: Ensure the bank account has the authorized P4A Officer signatures: Pay all bills and process check requests; Keep accurate records of transactions; Review and file tax returns and other governmental documents; Prepare financial report and budget; Preside over the Budget Committee and Teacher's grant Request Committee; Upon request, provide budgetary analysis, financial recommendations.

Why are you applying for this position?
The P4A the Executive Board are members in good standing of PFAA. Executive Board members shall meet at least once a month during the school year (July 1st to June 30th) to conduct all necessary P4A business, and shall perform the duties as prescribed by the P4A bylaws.
