For the School Year 2024-2025
Our age range generally follows: students must be between 2 years, 4 months - 4 years. 8 months by September 30, 2023. This means that eligible applicants for the 2024-2025 school year were born after January 1, 2020 and before June 1, 2022. If your child was not born between these dates, they are not eligible to attend BFS during the upcoming school year. $100 is the required appliation fee (this fee is non-refundable and required for consideration).

Pre-K Applicants: (who are not current BFS students): If your child was born in 2020, they are eligible for Pre-K in the 2024-2025 School Year. You must complete this application which provides us information and let's us know of your interest in the school. Do not pay the application fee, the fee is waived for all families applying to Pre-K.

Please note: For Pre-K we do not do a lottery, the application process is completed through the DOE and you will receive notification if your child has been placed in our program or if your child is on the waitlist from the DOE and not BFS.

WE WILL BE HOLDING OUR LOTTERY TODAY, JANUARY 17 2024. All Private Pay applications received from 1/17 going forward will not be included in our lottery, but added directly to the end of our waitlist. We will send out initial acceptance emails and all waitlist applicants, based on when they submitted their application will be considered for all families who do not accept their offered spot.

Cooperative Agreement*

I understand that BFS is a parent cooperative preschool requiring a minimum of two-four hours participation each month on average. If I am offer a space for my child and choose to enroll, I will perform my coop obligations willing and to the fullest extent possible.
Connection to BFS

If your child is a current student CURRENT do not pay the fee. If your child is a sibling SIBLING do not pay the application fee. If you are a staff member STAFF do not pay the application fee. The fee is again, also waived if you are applying to our PRE-K program, do not pay the application fee.
