Which program?
BJEP's Hebrew tutoring program pairs a teacher with a student for a host of needs, e.g., for one-on-one support, or they love learning languages, or to help with an upcoming visit to Israel. BJEP's B-Mitzvah cohort-based learning program allows students the opportunity to learn and prepare for this important milestone with their BJEP community peers, in 7th grade or once they complete the BJEP 7th grade program. The BJEP B-Mitzvah program includes a learning component whereby each student selects an ethical topic, and spends time studying their topic and Judaism's vantage on that very topic. This section allows you to share more about your goals in either program.

Learning Goals/Hebrew tutoring. While BJEP's program integrates Hebrew in the program and classroom, this supplemental program offers additional one-on-one learning, to either supplement their current learning, or in preparation for B-Mitzvah, or out of a child's interest in learning languages. Interest in the BJEP B-Mitzvah cohort program: the cohort programs is usually hosted for 2-4 students, and students select an ethical topic of interest to them that they will study during the year. The program is guided by BJEP's Rabbi-in-Residence, and offers cohort learning time once a month (Sunday mornings), one-on-one time (by zoom or in person), and additional tutoring (the program includes 6 hours of tutoring) as determined during the program year.
