Make sure you have submitted all documents that are required with the correct information. Your request will not be processed until the correct information is provided. Please understand the timeframe is up to 8 weeks after receiving the correct documentations. Once the investigation process is completed, there may or may not be an adjustment issued. If water consumption is determined to be the same as previous months usage, there will be no adjustment. However, if the usage is higher, it is the policy of JXN WATER to adjust a maximum of two (2) bills during the timeframe of the leak.
PLEASE NOTE: You are still responsible for a portion of the bills when the leak occurred. Only one (1) leak adjustment is allowed per calendar year. No adjustments are allowed for loss of water due to water hoses that leak, sprinklers that were left on, pools, appliances, or loose faucets. We do not accept estimates, insurance claims, or contracts of a bid proposal as a repair statement.
