With some actual time sitting at a keyboard and learning beginning playing skills, our time will be mostly focussed on preparatory building blocks to piano playing: fun, singing, story, rhythm playing, pattern recognition, reading note-rhythms, exploring sound, lots of games, etc.

Thursdays 4:30-5:15

Singing - Keeping Beat/Keeping Rhythm - Movement - Making Sound, Being Silent - Music Symbols, Notes, Rests - Stories - Exploring Sounds - all in a game-based environment. A great way to make music and learn skills before real fine motor skills are developed and instrument study can begin.
