Singlets (uniforms for wrestling) will be provided by the school for your wrestler and will need to be returned at the end of the season. You will need to purchase headgear and wrestling shoes. If you have questions please see Middle School Head Coach Jacob Brooks or Varsity Head Coach Nathan Awad.
Coaches

The Head Coach for our Charger Youth Wrestling Season will be Jacob Brooks. We will have many of our Varsity Charger Wrestlers as Assistant Coaches in the room helping! VL's Varsity Head Coach Nate Awad and Assistant Coach Michael Fee will be playing active rolls in the program this year as well. Any parent concerns can be direct to head Coach Jacob Brooks or to Nathan Awad Coach. Both of their phone numbers will be given at the first practice. A short parent meeting will be held after the first practice at 5:15 to go over expectations for the season and any questions parents or athletes may have!
Practice and Dual Meet Information

Practice days and times: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 4:00pm-5:15. Practice location is in the Varsity Wrestling Room across the hall from the weight room. Please have your wrestler there by 3:45pm to change into their shoes and headgear and be ready to warm up by 4pm. Meet days are always held on Tuesdays and a schedule will be passed out to parents at the first practice. Meet times are always 4:30 and arrival times will always be 4pm for warm ups.
