Veronica's Way Computer Lab Nomination Form:

Veronica’s Way offers three pillars of service to the community: technological literacy, educational support and hunger elimination. As a part of its technology initiative, each year Veronica’s Way commits to providing a school in a Caribbean or the African diaspora with a fully functioning computer lab. As a part of our mission to provide resources to areas and individuals of most need, we accept recommendations to assist us in identifying potential schools/organizations. Please note that recommendations do not guarantee selection and final determination will be made by the Veronica’s Way team. Once a school(s) is selected, they will receive confirmation by a member of the Veronica’s Way team regarding next steps. The Veronica’s Way Computer Lab recipient for is Accra, Ghana. To nominate a school/organization of another country, please ensure to note the location on the nomination form. The Deadline to nominate a school for Mission to Ghana is MARCH 31, 2024.
Eligibilty Requirements:
- School/Organization must work directly in serving students in grades K through 12. Libraries, community centers, and other non-profit, youth based organizations are eligible.
- School/Organization must be able to demonstrate positive impact on student engagement and/or achievement over a period of at least two years.
- School/Organization must have a location available that can safely and securely serve as the site of the lab. Locations in construction are only eligible if they can guarantee completion at least two months prior to the computer lab development date.
- School/Organization must be able to meet the basic electrical and system requirements to maintain the lab.
- Selected locations must be available for a minimum of one to two days for lab development during the selected creation period; typically, in the first or second week of October.
Please note: only programs that meet all eligibility requirements will be considered.
Additional Information:
- Nominations will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
  Veronica’s Way will accept multiple nominations. However, each nomination must be submitted on a separate form.
- Please ensure that all contact information is accurate. Submissions with incomplete or inaccurate information will not be considered.
- Veronica’s Way will accept recommendations for additional countries.
