Please read the following information and rules before completing the form.
- Parade staging takes place in the Mall/Avondale Church overflow parking lot. Please enter the parking lot from Lisgar Avenue and go to location as directed by parade organizers. ** Transport trucks / poor turn radius vehicles please use parking lot entrance closest to post office. All other vehicles use entrance across from the Tillsonburg Utilities Centre).
- Please arrive in the staging area by 5:30pm. Some entries choose to arrive hours in advance to build their entries on site. This is fine but please be prepared to have your location adjusted by parade organizers as staging is prepared.
- Only vehicles that will be in the parade are permitted entry into this staging area. Please direct all of your participants that this may mean parking in neighbouring lots/roads and walking to your entry. This is for safety reasons not because we want to be difficult.
- If you choose to have giveaways from your entry these items (Candy, flyers etc.) must be hand delivered to onlookers. No tossing items as this can result in a mess and children running out towards moving vehicles).
- If your entry includes animals please ensure you also include a designated waste removal person to pick up any unwanted droppings.
- We welcome and look forward to your creative and festive entries. Only festive entries will be permitted to enter the parade route. Note - The Tillsonburg & Area Optimist Club provide the one and only Mr. & Mrs. Claus in the parade to avoid any child confusion and enjoyment of the season.
