Plans are underway for the 14th Annual Illinois Dairy Summit hosted by Illinois Milk Producers Association and University of Illinois Dairy Extension. Join us as we get together in person to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the Illinois dairy industry in 2024. Dr. Phil Cardoso and I will again team up with Tasha Bunting and the Illinois Milk Producers Association to coordinate and present this exciting event.
The 2024 Illinois Dairy Summit will be held in person on February 7th at Highland Community College in Freeport, IL from 10:00a.m.-3:00p.m. The 2024 theme will be “Planning for Uncertain Margins in the Dairy Industry.” We are focusing on possible innovative ways to tackle the forecasted increase in production expenses and the drop in farm income - a concerning outlook. The past Dairy Summits have been very successful and we expect another productive meeting educating our attendees.
