- Read all instructions and follow all directions completely.
- You must attach proof of acceptance/enrollment from the college, university, or trade school you are/will be attending. If you will be a high school graduate in the spring of 2024, include a letter of acceptance from the college, university, or trade school you plan to attend in 2024.
- Retain a copy of the completed application for your records.
- Applications must be received no later than May 27th.
- Scholarship checks will be issued to the college, university, or trade school the student is attending. Checks will not be issued to the student or parent.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- You must be the spouse, child, stepchild, or grandchild of an active IBEW Local Union 51 member.
- You must plan to pursue or be pursuing post-high school education at an institution of higher education or an accredited trade school.
- You must have been accepted for admission or be enrolled in an accredited two or four-year college or university or an accredited trade school at the time of the award.
- You may not be the child, stepchild, grandchild, or spouse of a present Local 51 Business Staff employee or the child, stepchild, grandchild, or spouse of a Director and/or committee member of the IBEW Local 51 Charity Fund.
- Awards must be used for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Applications must be received no later than May 27, 2024. Please be sure to include proper postage.
AWARD CRITERIA
- Scholarships will be awarded by a random draw at the Scholarship Golf Outing event.
- All applicants will be notified by mail of the final results.
