Honda Kids Camp Rider Academy

** Important Rider Information **

This is for children between the ages of 5-12 and who have never riden a dirtbike before, or who have tried one out and want to try again. This is not for those who can already ride a dirt bike.

Children attending must be able to confidently ride a 2 wheel push bike unaided (with no training wheels). A parent or guardian for each child must be in attendance for the duration of the event. Child must come with appropriate footwear and clothing which includes (Boots – ankle boots or Gumboots, Long Pants, Long Sleeves). We also recommend families bring plenty of water, snacks & sunscreen.

Welcome to the Power Adventures Honda Kids Rider Academy.&#13;&#10;Motorcycling is potentially dangerous. All persons attending this Academy do so at their own risk.&#13;&#10;Your safety is our priority.&#13;&#10;You participate in this event at your own risk and although Power Adventures undertakes every endeavour to minimise any risks.&#13;&#10;In no circumstances will the promoter, its employees, crew, volunteers, sponsors, land owners and agents are responsible for any injury to person or damage to property for any claim whatsoever, regardless as to how it happens.&#13;&#10;You and all persons under your charge hereby indemnify the above parties and agree you will not make any claim whatsoever.&#13;&#10;In order for the crew to maintain a high level of safety, all students are required to follow the guidelines below:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;1. Follow the instructions of the trainers/coaches.&#13;&#10;2. No student is permitted to ride a motorcycle without being under the instruction of the coaches/trainers.&#13;&#10;3. Approved Safety Gear must be worn at all times when astride motorcycles – this includes but is not limited to:&#13;&#10;Helmets, sturdy boots, Long Sleeve top, Lon Trousers and gloves.&#13;&#10;4. A Parent or Guardian must be in attendance at the course for the entire duration.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;To attend this Academy, all students must first be proficient at riding a bicycle without trainer wheels, before partaking in the riding instruction.&#13;&#10;All students must be in sound health and physically able to undergo the activities without any impairment that may make taking part a sever risk to injury or damage.&#13;&#10;As the parent or guardian, I understand the risks involved and allow my child to experience this pastime knowing that injury is a remote possibility.&#13;&#10;I will convey the information given either in writing or orally, to my Child ensuring they fully understand the content.&#13;&#10;I have read all the information contained herein and additional information either by handout, email or verbally onsite and will seek clarification should I not be fully conversant with the details.
