  • Course Overview:
    This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to act as competent Fire Wardens within their workplace. It covers essential topics such as fire prevention, evacuation procedures, fire extinguisher usage, and emergency response protocols.

    Module 3: Fire Detection and Warning Systems
    • Types of fire detection systems (smoke detectors, heat detectors, etc)• •Understanding fire alarm signals and their meanings
    • Testing and maintenance of fire detection system

     

    Module 4: Emergency Evacuation Procedures
    • Developing and implementing evacuation plans
    • Roles and responsibilities of evacuation team members
    • Evacuation routes and assembly points
    • Considerations for individuals with disabilities

    Module 5: Fire Extinguisher Training
    • Types of fire extinguishers and their uses
    • Understanding fire classes (A, B, C, D, and K)
    • Hands-on training in operating fire extinguishers
    • Safety precautions when using fire extinguishers

    Module 6: Communication and Coordination
    • Effective communication during fire emergencies
    • Role of Fire Wardens in coordinating evacuation efforts
    • Conducting headcounts and accounting for personnel

    Module 7: Emergency Response and Aftermath

    The Fire Warden Training Course equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively respond to fire emergencies and fulfill their role as Fire Wardens within the workplace. By fostering a culture of fire safety awareness and preparedness, organizations can mitigate risks and ensure the safety of their personnel and assets.

    Pre-Requisites / Assume Skills and Knowledge
    Learners must be able to apply numbers, listen, read, speak & write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS-Level-2)

    Assessment
    • Written MCQ- Learner must achieve 60%
    • Practical assessment of fire extinguisher usage and emergency response skills

    Training Methodology
    Lecture Slides presentation, self-directed learning, e-learning, group discussion, presentation sharing of best practice and incident. Hands on practical session.

    Certifications
    Upon successful completion of the course a Certificate of Competency will be awarded by Ensure safe Consultancy Pte Ltd.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    1.       REGISTRATION: Application submission can be done at our office, via whatsapp (69777350), email (training@ensuresafe.sg), or online at www.ensuresafe.sg. All information provided must be true and accurate.

    2.       PAYMENT: Payment can be made by cash or Bank Transfer or Paynow or cheque only.

    3.       CANCELLATION: Notice of cancellation must be submitted at least 3 working days before the course commences. 75% of the course fee will be refunded. No refunds will be given if cancellation is made less than 3 working days before course commencement.

    4.       REPLACEMENT / POSTPONEMENT: Replacement or postponement requests must be made at least 3 working days in advance. Replacement incurs a $10 charge; postponement incurs a $30 charge. Full details of the new participant must be provided for replacements.

    5.       COURSE CHANGES: Ensure Safe Consultancy Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances.

    6.       CERTIFICATION: A certificate will be issued upon successful course completion (for worker courses, a pass will be issued). Certificates must be collected within 1 month of the exam date.

    7.       LANGUAGE: Ensure Safe Consultancy Pte Ltd is not liable for issues arising from incorrect language selection. Trainees must ensure they are proficient in the language selected during registration.

    8.       CONSENT TO DISCLOSE TRAINING RECORDS: In compliance with WSH Council’s directive and PDPA regulations, trainees must provide consent for their personal data and training records to be uploaded to the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) Training Record System (TRS).
