Children's Poetry Submission Form (one form per child please)

For "Poetry for the Wild & Curious Ones" by Sara Ernst.
By signing and submitting this form you understand and agree that Sara Ernst/Wild Pickle Press will retain all rights to use your child's entry in "Poetry for the Wild & Curious Ones". You also understand and agree that there will be no funds, royalties, prizes, etc given to you or your child for this entry whether it is chosen or not for publication within Sara Ernst's book. Sara Ernst/Wild Pickle Press holds all rights to any royalties, funds, etc from the purchase and use of her books.

*Your child may still use their own poem in a future book or contest. Sara Ernst/Wild Pickle Press will "own" their poem for the use in "Poetry for the Wild & Curious Ones" and will receive royalties for it due to the nature of the publication, but your child still owns their own poetry and may use it without limitation in the future for their OWN use or profit that is separate from Wild Pickle Press/Sara Ernst.

You also understand and agree that ONLY your child's first name and age will be used and that NO last name will be used for any reason. This is for the safety and privacy of the child.

You also understand that in no way will your personal information be sold by Sara Ernst. Addresses, Instagram handles and email addresses are used SOLELY for the purpose of validating residence or for contacting regarding this entry and the new book.

DIRECTIONS FOR ENTERING:

1. AS LONG AS THE CHILD "WROTE" IT ON THEIR OWN (THIS INCLUDES ORIGINAL WRITING FROM THEIR MIND EVEN IF THEY CAN'T PHYSICALLY WRITE YET)...YOU MAY PHYSICALLY WRITE IT OUT FOR THEM.

2. PLEASE INCLUDE A TITLE FOR THE POEM.

3. ANY AGE IS WELCOME FROM 2 YEARS OLD & 17 YEARS OLD.

4. ENTRIES MUST BE IN BY NOVEMBER 30TH 2023 TO BE CONSIDERED.

5. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY DECEMBER 31ST (PERHAPS SOONER) REGARDING WHETHER THEIR ENTRY WILL BE IN THE NEW BOOK.

6. *PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE I DEEPLY WISH I COULD INCLUDE EVERY POEM RECEIVED, I'LL ONLY HAVE SPACE FOR A CERTAIN NUMBER.

7. *YOU MAY INCLUDE UP TO 3 ORIGINAL POEMS FROM YOUR CHILD IN A SINGLE FORM. PLEASE REMEMBER ONLY ONE FORM PER CHILD THOUGH REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY CHILDREN ENTER FROM YOUR HOUSEHOLD.
