GO TEXAN Status: You must be an active GO TEXAN Partner at the time of registration and throughout the duration of the fair. Space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and is secured only after payment is received.

minimum coverage of $1,000,000 is required. Additionally, you must list
the Texas Department of Agriculture as “Additional Insured.”
Permitting: Food vendors are also required to have a valid Food Manufacturer License. No cottage foods products allowed.
Allowable Products: Permitted packaged food products and gift items may be
sold in the General Store and at Porches. Drinks sold in glass containers must be accompanied by a disposable cup. Refrigerated and frozen products are generally allowed but keep in mind that your customers will be spending, on average, about 5 hours at the State Fair of Texas and will not have a way to keep their products chilled. Thus, if you wish to sell refrigerated or frozen products, we recommend selling easily consumable items. Per State Fair of Texas rules and regulations, NO products containing CBD or Alcohol are allowed to be sold in the General Store. NO cottage foods products are allowed to be sold anywhere in the GO TEXAN Pavilion.
Contractor Commission: If your products are sold in the General Store, the store contractor will retain 30% of your gross sales.
Wine, Beer and Spirits Sampling Allowable Activities: All staff must have their Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC) Certification. Only samples may be served. No alcohol may be sold on site. To ensure the health and safety of fairgoers, maximum allowable sample sizes are as follows*:
Spirits - 0.5 ounce
Wine - 1.5 ounces
Beer - 2 ounces
*If TDA or SFOT staff on site notice people are being overserved, your
porch will be closed for the remainder of your shift and all future shifts
will be cancelled without refund.
