We will deliver 40 hours of training in the aforementioned SAMSHA approved topical areas. We will require all students who complete training to fill out the MHACBO Pre-Test, Post-Test, and Post-Survey. We will ensure that only individuals with lived-experience with a personal substance use disorder shall receive a Certificate of Completion, and individuals who do not have lived-experience with a substance use disorder shall receive a Certificate of Participation. As a trainer/training organization we agree to educate individuals regarding certification requirements of having lived-experience with a personal substance use disorder (not a family member or friend) in order to obtain CRM certification. We will not refer individuals to MHACBO for CRM certification who do not have personal lived experience with a substance use disorder and are not personally in recovery from a substance use disorder. We will maintain appropriate business registrations with the Oregon Secretary of State and maintain appropriate liability insurances. We will issue Certificates of Completion and Certificates of Participation including date of training, hours awarded, location, and instructor/coordinator's signature. All skill-based curriculum (interpersonal communication skills, motivational interviewing, group facilitation skills, crisis intervention/suicide intervention skills are provided either live in-person, or live on line). On-demand or homestudy education is not acceptable for skill-based education.
