Saturday, December 13th:

• Showcase & Other Activites: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Contest Guidelines & Rules:

• Gingerbread kits will be allowed for the youth and pre-teen categories ONLY (12 and under).
• Kits are NOT allowed for any other categories. 
• Entry structures do not have to be houses; they may depict other buildings but the main structure must be built from gingerbread.
• Entries must be constructed with 100% edible ingredients, except for the base. Everything that is visible should be edible. Purchased components may not include inedible pieces such as sticks and wrappers.  Items that help with stability will be allowed; however, they should be non-visible. 
• Structures should be built on a study base. Bases may be made from plywood, or foam core. The base may be covered in non-edible items such as paint, paper, ribbon, or fabric, but not included in the gingerbread house. 
• Structures should be almost complete when brought to the competition. Only minor additions and finishing touches should be completed on site. 
• The base shall NOT be larger than 18”x18” 
• The building shall NOT be taller than 24"
• Use only non-perishable adhesives. No battery or electric components should be included.
• The participants will be responsible for bringing the structure into the exhibit hall.
